Review: The Mark of Athena

The Mark of Athena The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I like how Percy and Annabeth have grown, and how they are fighting to have a future together. Percy and Jason go a long way in this one to fight alongside and truly unite greeks and romans.
I simply like how Riordan plots his storylines, how everything fits, and how well researched the myths are. But also, how each character has a voice that is different from the others, a characteristic that makes them unique and necessary.
My favorite part was when Baco showed up to se the show of Percy and Jason fighting the gigants. The most heartbreaking part was Percy not letting go of Annabeth, because that shows us how much have they grown as couple and as heroes.
Everyone has a part to play... and although usually two thirds of the book are settlement for the last third, this formula still attracts me... and I enjoy it a lot!
