Review: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I wanted to read this book for a long time, mainly because of the movie Blade Runner being a classic cult film. This experience was enjoyable, as with many books adapted to movies, the book usually focuses only in one aspect and can delve deeper into thought and reflexion whereas movies make necessary action and movement.
The book explores how empathy makes us humans and how can make us different from androids. Deckard has many oportunities to reflect on that. It was interesting to me that he seemed to be an expert and could recognize androids in cases where I was still debating if it was possible.
I liked the book because it remind me a lot my favorites "Brave New World" and "1984" and left me with the same feeling of void that those pieces.
Can we conclude that androids dream of electric sheep? No, we can't... because the subject of control could, but may have been a rational response to a certain situation. However, as Deckard, we have been changed by the androids... and this story was what I was hoping for. I could not say it was light or easy to read despite being a shot book, it was heavy and needs time to be read, thought and understood.

Review: The Seven Deadly Sins, Vol. 7

The Seven Deadly Sins, Vol. 7 The Seven Deadly Sins, Vol. 7 by Nakaba Suzuki
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Finally I get Gowther in here. The Manga is starting to divert from Anime (and I say it like this because I watched the Anime first and now I'm getting the Manga. I do know that Manga was first). Here Meliodas really looks like a demon with no control over his power and the other sins are doubting him. The relationship between King and Ban changes to become kind. I am intrigued to know if Veronica truly died.
